Interactive Map Of the Area

For anyone who is interested, please come out to Bellevue and help me hand out fliers!  Here is a map that shows:

-  Where Oban was lost
-  Where Oban was last seen (Feb 4th is the last known sighting)
-  Where you can pick up fliers (there is a flier attached as well, if you want to print your own)
-  Places that have been canvassed
-  Other likely looking places that still need to be covered

This map should be able to be updated by anyone!  If you have any info that might help, please feel free to put it in the map!  Thank you all so so much!

Blogging help?

This is my first blog, and if anyone has any suggestions of things I could do to make it easier for people to help, please let me know.  I would LOVE to post a PDF of a LOST poster, so that friends (or super helpful strangers) could print it themselves.  Is there a way to do that?

I LOST HIM!!! :(

PLEASE HELP ME FIND OBAN!!  CALL (808) 938-5861 with any sighting information!

LOST: Saturday, February 2nd, 2013
LAST SEEN: Heading south on 148th Ave SE, just south of I-90
DESCRIPTION: Slender, medium sized red/brown dog with a black markings. About thigh high, 45-50 lbs. Unknown mixed breed (whippet/shepherd??)

He is VERY SKITTISH and doesn't trust people at all, especially men.  He will NOT allow himself to be caught.

Please see below for our story :)

This is Oban.  I rescued him 3 years ago from a rural shelter in Waimea (Kamuela) on the Big Island of Hawaii. He was 9 weeks old, and the cutest puppy you ever did see.  We moved to Mill Creek 2 years ago, and he's been my constant companion!

On Saturday, February 2nd, Oban and I were on our way to Snoqualmie Pass to go snowshoeing.  He was in the back of the Outback, with a barrier to keep him from getting over the back seat.  While we were driving on the freeway, the barrier fell down, so we pulled off of I-90 at the Eastgate exit to fix it. Although he has NEVER bolted for a car door before, as soon as the driver's door opened, he jumped over the back seat, over the front seat, and out the door before I knew what was happening. After prancing around, all kinds of happy to be out of the car, he spotted a dog on the other side of the 6 lane road.  He loves dogs, so he took off across the street.  He made it across, did some doggy business, then BOUNDED back into traffic to come back to me. Right in front of a jeep. He got hit, tumbled, then ran off.  That was the last time I saw him.  He was running on the opposite side of the busy street, and the long line of cars was blocking my view.  It was also very foggy that morning, and I wasn't able to see where he went.  I don't think he was too badly hurt; because my friend and I, along with 2 members of the Humane Society (who happened to be there exercising their dogs) and Bellevue College security ALL searched for him for hours. No trace.
